After the Game Boy’s massive success, a boatload of peripherals were launched for the handheld. The most common of these were your standard magnifiers, battery packs and lights, but others had greater ambitions. One such device was Fabtek’s WorkBoy concept, a small keyboard that plugged into the Game Boy’s link port and turned the device into a PDA of sorts. After a yearlong research process, Did You Know Gaming’s Liam Robertson dives into the history of this device and his search for a prototype. A fascinating video and story of an add-on that was widely reported on but never released.
