I do own a gaming PC, but I still think of myself as a noob in that world. I am much more likely to buy a preconfigured system than build something myself. I am never the person who is going to buy the highest-spec thing. A YouTube channel like ETA Prime takes PC gaming hardware and makes it a lot more accessible to someone like me. A great example is the video below, where he takes a gaming PC sold at Walmart and puts it through its paces, evaluating its features and helping determine if this $600 box is acceptable for your average PC player. The channel has a great backlog of content ranging from mobile/retro hardware for emulation to handheld PCs.
